CONTEXT
Aligning missions and environmental values within organizations
Aligning missions and environmental values within organizations The aim is to understand the gap that can often be observed between the environmental values promoted by organizations and those actually practiced by their members : how values align, or conversely how they conflict within teams, management, etc. The project will also examine the conditions that enable members of an organization to bring about change, as well as the forms of conflict that arise when values diverge.
In collaboration with companies, public organizations (universities, hospitals, etc.), associations and collectives (unions, climate collectives, etc.), OrgAlign will analyze charters, practices and concrete situations to identify :
- contradictions between missions, organizational values and individual values ;
- processes of alignment or tension ;
- internal or external levers for action to promote truly virtuous and authentic practices.
GOAL
Develop a detailed and practical understanding of what makes an organization consistent, sincere and capable of transition, beyond mere appearances.
