Second-year students in the Master's program in Public Policy and Opinion (specializing in Public Policy) at Dauphine-PSL participated in the seminar "Knowledge, Mobilization, Public Action." As part of this program, they are working with the two eco-citizen institutes on the following issues :

IEC Mont Blanc
  • Consequences of road traffic and wood heating in the Arve Valley
  • Pollution linked to the bar turning industry and water micropollutants
  • Effects of the chemical industry and an incinerator on air pollution
IEC Aude
  • Mosquito control and insecticide use, health and environmental controversies
  • Historical pollution of the Bages-Sigean lagoon and ecological and social impacts
  • Nuisances and pollution around the Bioterra composting site and other platforms
  • Industrial and nuclear pollution linked to the Orano/Comurhex Malvési site
  • Historical chlordecone pollution in the Aude, industrial legacy linked to pesticide manufacturing
  • Waste management and experimental incinerator project at the Écopôle Suez Narbonne site 
The reports will provide an overview of pollution and highlight the social and political factors that may explain it.
